HEALTH & SAFETY

Updated January 10, 2022

stackconf takes the safety of its participants, speakers, sponsors, and staff very seriously. This page will be updated regularly with information about our plan for health and safety protocols on site at stackconf 2022. Our attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff health and safety remain our top priority as we continue to monitor COVID-19 and look to the guidelines to make the best and most informed decisions around on-site safety and requirements.

stackconf 2022 will take place in person at the Hotel Melia in Berlin. Our safety policies follow the requirements of our venue. Participants, speakers, sponsors, and staff should be aware of the following currently valid main regulations in Berlin:

  • stackconf takes place according to 2G regulations.
All participants must provide one of the following proofs upon arrival:
    – fully vaccinated
    – recovered
Those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons may still participate in 2G events, provided they have medical proof of this and a negative PCR test.
  • Access control including identification of everyone on all check-in points is obligatory.
  • Entrance to all venues/areas of stackconf (lecture rooms, catering, evening event, …) is only possible with your conference badge. Please always wear it visibly.
  • Medical masks will probably only be mandatory in public hotel areas.
  • Each meeting room is ventilated several times a day.
  • Strict cleaning and disinfection of all touch points of the rooms on site.
  • There will be sufficient disinfectants and soaps for a thorough cleaning of hands available in all public areas.
  • In case of symptoms of illness such as
    – (Heavy) Cough
    – Fever
    – Common Cold
    – Sore Throat
